SEASONS

Hello Dear One,

It’s the beginning of the crowning week in August 2019!! God has been sooo good. Can I get an Amen. He’s sure been good to the 1nebody crew and we trust that you have also experienced God’s goodness.

In our last review, we were reminded of the need to step into our higher levels as ordained by God. However, it’s vital to point out that our God is a God of times and seasons- He is deliberate and very intentional.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 (New Living Translation) says,

“For everything there is a season,
    a time for every activity under heaven.
 A time to be born and a time to die.
    A time to plant and a time to harvest…
A time to love and a time to hate.
    A time for war and a time for peace. “

God has programmed our lives in a seasonal way as we see in the above scripture. While we prepare to take higher levels, we must maximize our current level. God, being an intentional God orchestrates certain things per season and it beholds on us to be sensitive to His leading in order to maximize the blessings in every season.

Recently, I heard my Pastor say, “it is true that God wants to take you higher but don’t fight with your current level. Instead, appreciate God for where you are as you trust Him to take you higher.”

Your current season is a preparation phase for your next season and it must be taken as such, so that when the new season comes you would be very well prepared for it. Also, once a season changes, you cannot return to the previous in an attempt to get better prepared.

Verse 11 of the same scripture sums it up saying, “Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. ”

Dear one, your current season won’t always be around. Beginning today, trust God for the grace to maximize it in every possible way. That way, when the new season comes everything will come together very beautifully.

The body of Christ today is blessed with sooooo many wonderful people preaching and spreading the gospel in their own way. While some are behind the pulpit, many others are not.
